Why NoorStar

Briefly sharing why I made this: The spring 2026 Middle East conflict caused an extraordinary disruption to air travel. Major airports across the region closed, thousands of flights cancelled, and much of the regional airspace shut down to commercial traffic. I ended up stuck on one side of the region while the love of my life was on the other and I could not make it back in time for her surgery. Ideally, nothing should keep us away from the one we love but sometimes life intervenes.

I built this flight finder so that if you are stuck on one side of some conflict and there is a major disruption in flights, my hope is that this tool can help you find a creative flight path home to your loved ones.
